Case Story - Our lockout adventure

My daughter and I had been shopping at the mall after a nice lunch. When we drove home, I realized I had accidentally left my house keys in my other jacket. Oh no, I thought. Guess it's time to call an emergency locksmith. I even looked in my purse for my transponder key which unlocks our basement door. Guess I left it in my office so I was out of luck. Thank goodness I had my cell phone to have a locksmith come to our rescue.

If you're ever in need of help, think about calling someone that's nearby. I called locksmith Glencoe, a local company that was about two miles away from our home. Since it was about 4pm, I called the local emergency locksmith so we wouldn't have to wait too long. The technician was such a nice young man. When he drove up, the first thing he asked me was if any of our home locks were wired for digital access. We did but silly me, I didn't know where it was.

While Steve was using his door lockset tools, he started telling us a story how helped an elderly man get into his house earlier that day. Apparently the man had done a residential lock change after going through his lost house keys drama but forgot to put the new key on his ring. The thing I loved about the technician was that he wasn't like all those repairmen you hear about who give you a hard time. Actually, he said people deserve to be treated with respect when they're desperate to find a 24 hour locksmith.

Once we got inside, I thanked him for being our favorite locksmith of all time. If there's an award for the #1 professional locksmith, Steve would get our vote.
